Welcome back to Emmerdale Live and Organized! In case you haven’t been here before here is what happens. I watch the episode and write down my thoughts as it comes to me in an organized fashion. It’s like a live look inside my brain while watching Emmerdale. Not as crazy as it sounds. Unless you want it to be. *wink*
Doug. Oh Doug.
Doug is finally transitioning a bit. He is still feeling guilty and crappy, but he is less remorseful about it. He is starting to pull together. Not completely but he is. I won’t lie. I’m writing this before Monday’s review but I know I will go deeper into Diane and Doug’s relationship there and how I feel about the two of them. So, if you haven’t, check out Monday’s review which is going up at the same time as this one. Double the reading and double the fun!
The Kid’s Take Over
Man do I hate the doctor’s daughter. She is a brat. She is trouble and not in a good way. She is terrible and mean. HOWEVER, we are getting some set up for the doctors family to join us. Some developments. How her dad wouldn’t notice her if she showed up at home or not. How she doesn’t seem to have any limits (bad parenting).
Sarah has something to prove. Being rebellious against all the wrongs in her life. Learning her mother is human, Joe being around and someone getting hurt. Pair all of that with her sickness and no wonder she is having troubles again. (I called this a year ago and now its coming together. I just hope she doesn’t die on us!) Noah is still a prat. Jacob knows better. Go hang out with Liv Jacob. Please. You two are good influences on each other.
(I WANT BEST FRIENDS LIV AND JACOB NOW PLEASE AND THANK YOU!)
Lachlan is the Hero?
Lachlan continues to be a great villain. He is complex and interesting and worthily of taking a long look at. He has killed, sexual assaulted someone and hurt others. He is also trying to make some things better by using his money. Something Liv finds wrong. She did spend a lot of time with him back in 2016. She might have a better take on what and who Lachlan is. Sort of what Robert was thinking before he let it go because live moves on.
Can’t wait to see what happens next with him. Thomas remains amazing.
The Surprise Baby Shower No One Wants
Oh Chas. This story is killing me. She has to tell someone soon because it is not something you should be keeping to yourself. This is the time to find a shoulder and cry and cry till you can’t and then its time to make decisions. Chas dealing with it on her own might lead her down a path of delusion. I know she tells Paddy everything but let’s hope Chas makes the final decision on what she wants to do with her body. Paddy may have pushed her to keep the kid but this time she needs to decide what is best for her body and what lies below her skin.
The Little Stuff (Aaron Edition)
- AARON IN HIS COVERALLS. How 2014 of him! I loved seeing that look again. There was no rhyme or reason why Aaron was there (even Joe was confused) but I’ll take it. Maybe more proof the scrapyard might be on its way out?
- I was told to put this in so…this is for you Justine: You know what Aaron did? He went home to Robert to play, “Dirty Grease Monkey and Mr. Shifty Hide the Salami”
- The whole village puts in earplugs when they play that game.
- Did I mention how cute Aaron looked today?
