Welcome back to Emmerdale Live and Organized! In case you haven’t been here before here is what happens. I watch the episode and write down my thoughts as it comes to me in an organized fashion. It’s like a live look inside my brain while watching Emmerdale. Not as crazy as it sounds. Unless you want it to be. *wink*
Chas, Paddy, Liv and an ill-advised party
Well, I think Faith doesn’t know how to handle this type of heartache. I think her idea to take care of that is to party and forget while that isn’t very healthy though I think her heart was in the right place. Even if she brought the Wellie out again. Randomly.
I know people are super upset by this story and that is perfectly understandable. It is a very classic soap storyline that I think doesn’t play well today because people are going to question things a lot more than in the past. However, this story reminds me of a real-life story I read in a magazine ages ago. Same situation. The parents did the same things Chas and Paddy are doing. The child died at birth, but they had those memories with her before that for them to remember instead of just the death. It was a heartbreaking story, but it showed strength and it showed it was a choice this couple made. It’s a choice that has been made. Instead of getting super mad I’m going with the flow. Chas deciding to participate in the organ donation is one small step towards her recognizing this story won’t end well. It’s a tiny step. She will still be hit by a Mack truck full of reality down the line but it’s a small step.
I enjoyed the little conversation Liv had with Paddy. Showing us that Paddy is going along for the ride to keep Chas happy. More proof he might break worse than Chas down the line. I thought Rhona and Paddy weren’t going to happen, but it might…way down the line. Then again…I’m always wrong. Don’t ever forget that.
Bob. Oh Bob. Make it Stop.
Laurel faced a lot of hard truths today. Nicola asked the question we all were asking and she still loves the idiot. Too bad Bob didn’t hear that. Oh well. *shrug*
The Little Stuff
- It’s morbid but I giggled like an idiot when Jai acted like Jai towards that poor girl. It was just so funny. His face was priceless. He was an ass, but I enjoy a nice ass. Wait…what?
- Brenda and Doug going on a trip together. In separate rooms. For gardening. *makes eyes* HELLO NEW COUPLE ALERT! *I still like them*
- Grace Dingle. I like it.
- Thank you, Harriet, for giving Amelia a step by step guide on how to find Beth. THANKS. APPRECIATE IT. *sigh*
- All the ladies in the salon are looking good!
- I want Faith’s hair.
- Aaron wearing his ring makes me smile. Why? He is engaged! *NOT OVER IT*
- Some Hitchcock camera work at the end.
‘It’s Just Speculation!’
