Welcome back to Emmerdale Live and Organized! In case you haven’t been here before here is what happens. I watch the episode and write down my thoughts as it comes to me in an organized fashion. It’s like a live look inside my brain while watching Emmerdale. Not as crazy as it sounds. Unless you want it to be. *wink*
Camping, Kids and a Ghost Story
The kids are adorable. That is a given. I love the way they talk to each other. Leave it to April and Arthur to lead the crew through the forest. There are always those two kids who take the lead and the two most vocal (also the better actors) lead the way. They aren’t dumb kids and I will be grateful the show writes them well.
Bobel have one of those couple moments that should be cute but its ok. I won’t lie, Laurel is one of my favorites and seeing her so happy makes me happy so I”ll go with it. I love that even after all this time, Laurel and Nicola are still best friends. That is rare in a soap and I celebrate them.
Jai and Rishi
Jai doing the right thing and pimping out his dad so he can have some company (not the dirty kind thank you very much) was sweet. I’m loving all the Sharma on my screen lately. Bring back a certain Sharma (with a cute daughter) and we have a deal show. I’m really interested that the show is interested in the Sharma’s again. We need more focus on other families. Sure, I like the Dingles but I need a break from them. They are everywhere. We need other families to break it all up.
Beth and Amelia
It’s fair that Harriet told Amelia how to find Beth that she stops them from doing whatever they were going to do there. I won’t lie to you guys. I jumped ahead and didn’t watch the full scenes. I do know that Amelia ruining that laptop (they DON’T COME CHEAP YOUNG LADY) was annoying to watch. Amelia’s obsession with Beth…sigh…she is going to run again…isn’t she? I will say this…no Daz in sight. I forgot about this character until this moment when I thought about what Amelia went through this year. Daz has disappeared. Could it be because punching people while drunk gets you in trouble or is he on vacation? I hope I never find out.
The Shrieking Cabin of Plot Device
I have nothing to say here. I’m just proud of that section title so please enjoy the title! ❤
Rodney and Misty
CAN WE TALK ABOUT THEM? They were supposed to have this big storyline of Rodney not being able to keep up with Misty sexually. There were pictures used in magazines, on the ITV site and the American site, Britbox. The episode came and went and nothing. NOT ONE SCENE. Now they appear and she is running around with the kids while Rodney sleeps. Nicola points it out. Rodney just shrugs. WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT STORY? Tell me below if you have some good gossip.
The Little Things
- I’m sorry I don’t have much to say in this review. It was a builder episode. Characters that don’t usually hang out and talk did. I really enjoyed Brenda butting into Jai and Rishi’s conversation. Rishi appreciated it but Jai had that look that makes me laugh. LOVE IT.
- Jimmy and Nicola are adorable. What else is new?
- April is my pick for child of the week. If she isn’t available for her speech, Arthur can take over.
