Welcome back to Emmerdale Live and Organized! In case you haven’t been here before here is what happens. I watch the episode and write down my thoughts as it comes to me in an organized fashion. It’s like a live look inside my brain while watching Emmerdale. Not as crazy as it sounds. Unless you want it to be. *wink*
Let’s crack on!
I still don’t think Ross and Rhona will be a thing. It’s just another strike into Ross’s dissolving self-esteem. The fact that Rhona wants to tell Pete what went down is a good thing. I think she is just worried about Ross and his pill addiction. Again, she has been there, and she went too far before someone put their foot down and helped her. So, she would want to be that foot for Ross.
Ross stealing from the Vet’s place. Aaron did the same right? Only to sell not take. Rhona did it too. This place needs better security.
Ross and his relationship to women are just…makes me uncomfortable. The way he talks to them manhandles them, threatens them without thinking. It creeps me out and for some reason, the fandom doesn’t agree with me. Maybe I’m overthinking it but Ross and women…its not pretty and I’m waiting for someone to call him out on it.
Pete is going off on Ross. *Jerry Springer Noises*
As for Rebecca? I think that is Ross’s only friend and they needed someone on his side during that Pete fight so they stuck her there. Again, they have her in a holding pattern. May? Maybe May will shake that up quite a bit.
Arthur is upset, and I don’t blame him. That has to be a blow to him. Finding out his mother is fallible in life. He sees Ashley as a Saint because he only see’s dad and not the person. Laurel did mess up, but this might be a good lesson for Arthur that parents are people too. Oh. BOB SUCKS. ALWAYS.
I think she was grieving but I think she, as a grown adult, wanted it too. I do like how the show is talking about how the kids are affected and what will happen to them going forward. Doug is really great today. Its been a long time since he got to do something other than be grumpy. Good for them giving him a great scene between Laurel and Doug.
I still like the idea that Liv could do better in there. The warden is on her side. He wants her to succeed. A complete difference from Aarons storyline.
See! Liv is a smart kid! I never doubted her for a second. Keep going kid. You got this.
“Lay back and think of England!” – Jimmy
This storyline is weird, but I think it’s the comedy subplot? Maybe? I don’t hate it but I don’t look forward to it either. Its Jimmy and Nicola. They are quite the pair. I will always love them. Even if Jimmy has to lay back and think of England.
Oh Bob. Oh Brenda. That’s all I have to say about it.
Was Bob Ashley’s best friend? When? Did I miss it? Its been awhile, maybe I forgot.
*This is short because I’m dead tired and just want to curl up and nap. As my schedule gets better I’ll be writing longer reviews.*
